How to choose wear resistant pump pipes?
Aug 26, 2020

1. Different equipment is equipped with different pipelines. There are generally three types of concrete pumps, concrete trailer pumps, truck-mounted pumps, and boom pumps. Boom pumps generally use wear-resistant pump pipes made of various manganese steel pipes. The process is inner wall quenching or double-layer pump pipes; vehicle-mounted pumps generally use high-pressure pipes. The current domestic high-pressure standard is that the wall thickness of the pipe is not less than 5 mm , Seamless pipe with an outer diameter of 140. Trailer pumps can be equipped with low-pressure pump pipes or high-pressure pump pipes. It can be configured according to the specific construction pressure and the vertical height of the building. Generally, low-pressure pump pipes are configured below 80 meters, and high-pressure pump pipes are configured as far as possible above 80 meters.

2. Wear-resistant pump pipes need to look at the weight and wall thickness of the pump pipe to understand the quality of the pump pipe. In the case of the same material, the heavier the weight, the thicker the wall thickness of the tube and the longer the life span.

3. Select the pump pipe and concrete label according to the project. Different cement grades use different pump pipes for different projects. In general, the higher the vertical, the higher the pressure of the pump tube. High-pressure pump pipes shall be used for those exceeding 150 meters vertically. Thick and wear-resistant pump pipes should be used for cement grades above C50. Generally, pump pipes with a wall thickness of more than 6 mm or wear-resistant pump pipes are used.
