The electric regulating butterfly valve belongs to one kind of electric valve and electric regulating valve. The main connection methods are: flange type and wafer type. It is an important executive unit in the field of industrial automation control.

Two key points of installation of electric control butterfly valve are analyzed: installation position, height and direction of inlet and outlet must meet the design requirements. Pay attention that the direction of medium flow should be consistent with the direction of arrow marked on the valve body, and the connection should be firm and tight.

Before the installation of electric butterfly valve, visual inspection must be carried out, and the nameplate of the valve shall comply with the provisions of the current national standard "general valve mark" gb12220. For the valve with working pressure greater than 1.0MPa and cut-off function on the main pipe, strength and tightness performance test shall be conducted before installation. It can only be used after it is qualified. During the strength test, the test pressure shall be 1.5 times of the nominal pressure, and the duration shall not be less than 5min. The valve shell and packing shall be qualified if there is no leakage.

Electric regulating butterfly valve can be divided into offset plate, vertical plate, inclined plate and lever type according to its structure. According to the sealing form, it can be divided into soft sealing type and hard sealing type. Rubber ring seal is generally used for soft seal type and metal ring seal is generally used for hard seal type.
